Bianca Roberson Johnson

Bianca Roberson is Legal Counsel for Shell in the Contracts and Procurement group. Bianca collaborates with business partners in the drafting and negotiation of contracts for commercial projects globally. Prior to joining Shell, Bianca worked as an Assistant Distric Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for three years. Bianca is a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she received a Juris Doctorate in 2013. Bianca is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Executive Director of the Downtown Group, and President of the Young Energy Professional Committee. Bianca is also the Founder of WE WILL, a non-profit that seeks to access, educate, and inspire high achieving but underserved high school women about careers in law.

Bianca grew up in Texas City, Texas and after graduation attended Howard University in Washington, DC. After graduating with a BBA in Finance, Bianca worked for two years on the commodities trading floor at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Bianca is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc – a public service organization. Bianca has also worked extensively with Team in Training, which is the fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma. Within her work with TNT, Bianca has completed several triathlons and marathons to raise money to fund cancer research.

Bianca is a true “foodie” and dotes a lot of time chasing her nine-year old daughter, Sloane, five-year-old son, Duke, and three-year old daughter, Ella.

Alexis Howard Lewis

Alexis Howard Lewis is the Chief Legal Officer for Wellby Financial. She oversees the Shared Risk Services departments, comprised of Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Fraud/BSA functions, Procurement, and the Legal department. Before going in-house, Alexis practiced in big law.  A native Coloradoan, Alexis relocated to Houston to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Alexis resides in Houston with her husband, Keland, and their daughter, Kai. She enjoys art, live music, and good food with even better company.

Amy Tomlinson

Amy is an associate in the Houston office of Liskow and Lewis. Amy is a member of the  Energy Litigation Practice Group and focuses her practice on complex  business litigation, and energy and natural resources law. Her complex business litigation experience includes commercial disputes and class action defense. Amy has litigated cases in federal and state courts.  Before joining Liskow, Amy worked in both  public and private practice in a variety of industries. Amy is a former ADA and solo-practitioner. Amy has successfully managed several  large dockets. She enjoys all cycles of litigation.

 

She is deeply involved in her community and mentoring. Amy is a first-generation American and of Jamaican decent. She is the first in her family to graduate law school and one of the first to attend college. She makes an effort to continuously serve the Houston community thru organizations such as CASA and The Downtown Group.

Chauntelle Wood

Chauntelle is an experienced first-chair trial lawyer representing companies in a broad range of civil and white-collar criminal matters. She has tried over 40 jury and bench trials.

Chauntelle's experience includes defending companies in mass tort suits, legacy litigation, environmental and operational matters, and oil & gas royalty and pipeline disputes. She has also litigated general commercial and white-collar matters, including construction failure matters, internal investigations for fraud or breach of fiduciary duties, internal environmental investigations, insurance and indemnity disputes and labor and employment matters.

Prior to private practice, Chauntelle served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s office, where she was the first-chair attorney in 28 jury trials and served as a Senior Felony Prosecutor and a Misdemeanor Court Chief.

Chauntelle has previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Southern Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she taught Trial Simulation to second-year law students.

Chauntelle is a Veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves where she served for 8 years.

Why WE WILL is important to me

“Showing up as a successful black attorney to young minority girls is important. They need to see that this is also attainable for them. This makes WE WILL so important, so necessary.”
